About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Graduate Buyer to join our dynamic team. As a Graduate Buyer, you will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, coordinating promotional activity, negotiating pricing and promotional funding, and analyzing sales, suppliers, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Promotional Activity: Coordinate and execute promotional activities to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Negotiation and Pricing: Negotiate pricing and promotional funding with suppliers to achieve optimal results.
  • Range Management: Manage product ranges to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales, suppliers, and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Order Placement: Place orders for all depots using sound commercial reasoning and influence to ensure maximum availability and prices.
  • Stock Management: Manage stockholding to ensure optimal levels and minimize waste.
  • Communication: Liaise with depots and other internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Buying: Demonstrate a passion for buying, sales, or category management.
  • Communication Skills: Possess outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
