Role Overview
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored assistance to students with Autism, enhancing their classroom experiences.
- Implement effective behaviour management and sensory strategies to create a safe and conducive learning space.
- Collaborate seamlessly with educators and support teams to foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
- Support students in developing their skills and confidence, promoting a sense of belonging.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the field, preferably with students with Autism.
- Previous experience working with children and young people, with a good sense of humour and ability to build relationships.
- Demonstrated patience and empathy, with proficiency in behaviour management strategies.
- Agility in adapting to educational dynamics, with a dedication to cultivating a sense of belonging.
