We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the development of our menu and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment, where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen staff, mentoring and training new recruits, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in the planning and preparation of menus, including developing new and innovative dishes
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing way
  • Leading a team of kitchen staff, mentoring and training new recruits, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety
  • Managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records of food usage and waste
  • Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery and to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction
