Programme Director Animation

The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is seeking an experienced academic to lead our Animation programme at our Farnham campus.
The Animation courses have a rich history, with over 60 years of success. Graduates have achieved great recognition, including Academy Award and BAFTA winners, as well as establishing popular franchises.
The Programme consists of BA and MA Animation courses, sitting within the School of Film, Media and Performing Arts.
As Programme Director, you will provide effective leadership, maintaining and developing recruitment, retention, curriculum and assessment. You will be responsible for a significant cohort of students, ensuring that staff and resources are managed effectively.
You will be part of the School Management Team, reporting to the Director of School and working closely with other Programme Directors to lead and support the wider strategic activities of the School.
To be successful in this role, you will have a good honours and postgraduate degree, professional experience and knowledge of current educational issues. You will also have a critical understanding of the social, cultural, economic and environmental factors influencing Performing Arts today.
