About the Role

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Performance Manager to join the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Fleet team. The successful candidate will drive fleet performance across customer impact, fleet uptime, and fleet financial performance within our transportation network in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the improvement of fleet downtime performance by collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain asset downtime models for operational planning and quality control.
  • Manage fleet financial performance by leading annual budgeting and quarterly financial updates in conjunction with the finance team.
  • Analyze drivers of financial performance and develop projects to address identified issues.
  • Model asset-level total cost of ownership to inform business decisions.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the fleet's vision.
About the Team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a critical role in Amazon's success. As part of ATS, you'll join a diverse team that manages Amazon's 10,500+ trailers and trucks used to deliver packages to customers. Our goal is to create the safest and most reliable fleet on the road, with this role contributing to maximizing fleet uptime through effective maintenance vendor management.

Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to define program requirements and use data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and data analysis.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication with multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Advanced-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLookUps, and SQL.
