We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team at Prana Italian Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring the highest standards of service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

**Responsibilities:**

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with guests, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, collaborating with kitchen staff to deliver timely service.
• Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff.

**Requirements:**

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Excellent time management skills, enabling you to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• BASIC Maths proficiency for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• A friendly demeanour with the ability to connect with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided as necessary.
• A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic is essential.

**Compensation:**

The hourly rate is £11.44, with opportunities for additional pay through a bonus scheme, commission pay, performance bonus, tips, and yearly bonus.
