About the Role

The EMEAR Business Growth Specialist will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with potential BioDot customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia. This role requires a strong commercial understanding of the industry and its drivers, as well as technical knowledge related to low volume liquid handling. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with marketing and sales to develop leads into opportunities and manage the sales funnel. This role will be focused on the EMEAR liquid handling market, with the potential for growth and expansion into new territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify top target customers within key industries.
  • Research and identify emerging markets and geographies.
  • Educate target customers and present BioDot's technology.
  • Develop a long-term funnel for future bookings.
  • Develop key relationships with End Users, Academic, and Industrial partners.
  • Connect the sales team with high-potential accounts per quarter.
  • Identify high-value beta customers for new technologies and product releases.
  • Develop and launch customer acquisition strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences.
  • Build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with customers through technical and business expertise.
  • Presentation of solutions that suit customer applications and demonstrate Value Proposition and ROI.
  • Ensure all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the international sales team.
  • Log all progress and updates into system tools such as CRM, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Participate in ATS Business Model (ABM) and Kaizen events.

Requirements
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in business or sciences.
  • Experience maintaining customer relation management (CRM) territory management tools.
  • Experience with automated liquid handling platforms preferred.
  • Experience selling into laboratory and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of life science applications is preferred.
  • Good mechanical aptitude desired with the ability to convey technical details to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Project planning and reporting skills.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft suite (Word, PPT, Excel) proficiency required.
  • Ability to demonstrate organizational skills managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent follow-up necessary being able to be the customer advocate while managing business success.
  • Tenacity, drive, self-motivation, and a competitive spirit.
