Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Location: Barrow-In-Furness

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage a team of professional Supply Chain Staff and Managers in the delivery of the Supply Chain Functional Strategy and Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Supply Chain professionals to deliver the Supply Chain Functional Strategy and Plan.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision to achieve business objectives in line with corporate requirements.
  • Support the delivery of products by ensuring direct reports have purpose and clarity and are empowered to meet key delivery targets on time and within budget.
  • Actively promote cross-functional working to augment and achieve key knowledge transfer and promote best working practices across the business.
  • Develop and coach aspiring leaders within the Supply Chain Team.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • MCIPS or equivalent level, relevant professional qualification (mandatory).
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Management, Leadership, and Business Executive skills.
  • Supply chain and major sub-contract management.

Desirable:

  • APMQ qualification would be advantageous.
