Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in Gloucester. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to existing customers, supporting and training applications engineers, and producing technical documentation.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industrial automation systems, PLCs, and motion controllers. You will have the chance to work on projects from concept to delivery and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of technical support to existing customers via multiple media channels.
  • Support and training of in-house and external applications engineers.
  • Production of technical documentation and communications.
  • Occasional international travel to support distributors.

Requirements:

  • Degree or similar higher qualification in Software/Mechatronics/Electronics or related discipline.
  • Worked on interfacing automation hardware.
  • Experienced in programming industrial automation/manufacturing machines.
