About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a vibrant primary school. As a SEND Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and inspiring children to reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils' emotional, physical, and educational development
  • Assist with the planning, delivery, and monitoring of Individual Education Plan targets
  • Help pupils develop social skills both in and out of the classroom
  • Provide feedback on pupils' learning and behavior to teachers and SENDCo
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure learning materials meet pupils' needs
Requirements
  • Good general education, including Maths and English GCSE grade C or above
  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience working within Key Stage One/Early Years curriculum and supporting SEND children
  • Confident and passionate about delivering quality intervention programs
