About the Role:

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients attending the Haematology Day Care unit. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent clinical care, demonstrating considerable responsibility and autonomy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including phlebotomy and cannulation
  • Support patients who attend for assessment, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Work collaboratively with the registered nursing and medical team to deliver high-quality care
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff within the team
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of healthcare courses
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
