About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead our project delivery team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple refurbishment and construction contracts from inception through to completion.

Your key responsibilities will include Project Oversight, Team Leadership, Contract Compliance, Financial Management, Client Relations, and Risk & Quality Control.

  • Project Delivery: Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timeframes, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration between design, construction, and on-site staff.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure all contractual obligations are met, addressing any issues, changes, or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, track costs, and manage resources effectively to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Client Communication: Act as primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions while ensuring adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the construction or refurbishment sector.
  • Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, project management, and financial oversight.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and contract administration software.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong client and team relationships.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the UK as required for project oversight.

Job Description:
