- Support the probation management process, ensuring timely issuance of related paperwork.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts, and handle changes to terms and conditions.
- Administer the leavers process, ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
- Issue birthday cards and manage long service awards, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure HR folders contain accurate and up-to-date information, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Provide basic policy advice to staff and managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Take minutes during HR meetings, including grievances and disciplinary proceedings.
- Recommend process improvements for HR systems, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Support the People Team with ad hoc duties and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- 1+ years' administrative experience, preferably in HR.
- Energetic, driven, and friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and adaptable, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Works well independently and in teams, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Skilled in prioritizing and meeting deadlines, with a strong ability to work under pressure.
- Salary up to £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
