Nursing Home Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Millbrook Manor Nursing Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the highest attainable standard of nursing care within the home. This will involve ensuring that all staff are performing their duties adequately and maintaining professional standards in keeping with the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed to the required standards
- Maintain clear, concise, and accurate records within the home in accordance with legislation and Woodlawn Manor standards
- Ensure the agreed policies and procedures for the control, administration, and custody of all drugs and medicines are adhered to
- Liaise with healthcare professionals as necessary regarding the discharge of a resident to the community to ensure continuity of care
- Fluent in English language (verbal and written) and be eligible to work in Ireland
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Caring and compassionate, and be passionate about providing high-quality person-centred care
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality at all times.
