Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quarry Operative to join our team. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of materials. As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the production of essential construction materials that build communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the site to ensure efficient operations.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence, making informed decisions to ensure site safety and productivity.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry, with a strong understanding of quarry operations and safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to resolving site issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with colleagues and management.
