Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quarry Operative to contribute to our operations. This role is crucial to our success, ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of materials. As part of our dynamic team, you'll play a key role in the production of essential construction materials that build communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain the cleanliness of the site to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence, making informed decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the quarry.

Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry, with a strong understanding of quarry operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
