Payroll Administrator

Our client, a dynamic accounting firm based in Brighton & Hove, is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a thriving payroll environment, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payrolls, preparing and submitting pension schemes, and assisting with the administration of a mixed portfolio of 400+ companies. They will also be expected to work closely with the payroll team, providing support and guidance as needed.
In terms of salary, we estimate that the successful candidate can expect to earn around £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary, reflecting the importance of the role and the skills required.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of payroll systems, including Payroll Professional, XERO, FreeAgent, and Moneysoft. They will also need to have strong analytical skills, with the ability to process and manage payrolls accurately and efficiently.
Additionally, the successful candidate will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of Excel. They will also need to be able to work effectively in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
