Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful Primary school in the Southall area of the London Borough of Ealing.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teachers in the planning and implementation of work programmes with individuals or groups of pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support to the inclusion team and class teachers in the support of pupils with special educational needs inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist the teachers and inclusion team in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn, develop and be successful.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school.
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve the outcomes for pupils.
  • Able to plan and deliver a range of interventions for pupils to support their academic and emotional wellbeing.
  • Actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback.
Location

The school is located in the Southall area of the London Borough of Ealing, with easy access to Southall station and nearby bus routes.
