MUFT is a leading provider of healthcare services in the North West of England. Our trust operates from several sites across Manchester and surrounding areas, employing over 25,000 staff and treating more than one million patients annually.
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Head of Healthcare to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our healthcare services and contribute to our mission to provide high-quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, experience working in hospital administration, and a strong understanding of patient and hospital administration systems.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications- Essential: A good standard of Maths and English, ILM Level 3 in Management and Leadership or equivalent.
- Desirable: Business or IT qualifications.
- Essential: Experience working in hospital administration, managing and supervising a team, working with medical staff and healthcare professionals, meeting deadlines and targets, and managing front-line complaints.
- Desirable: Extensive experience supporting patient outpatient and inpatient services, finance, and income/expenditure management.
- Essential: Ability to interpret performance information, develop actions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Desirable: Excellent management skills and conflict resolution abilities.
- Essential: High-level knowledge of patient and hospital administration systems, local governance, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Desirable: Knowledge of national and local patient targets.
- The salary for this position is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
