At Speedy Services, we are seeking a skilled Crane Engineer to join our team. As a Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring they are safe to use and meet legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists
- Consult with customers to ensure next steps are recorded and prevention of breakdowns is prioritized
- Anticipate and prevent problems before they occur
- Carry out frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns and fault finding
- Perform retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to customers' cranes and hoists
- NVQ3, HNC, HND, or C&G electrical engineering qualification
- Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machines
- Excellent customer service manner, with strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients
- Ability to support the business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
