Crane Engineer Lifting Solutions Specialist

Job Summary:
A Crane Engineer is required to join our team at Speedy Services, a leading provider of lifting and equipment inspection services in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient lifting solutions.About Us:Speedy Services has been providing specialist testing, inspection, maintenance, certification, and training services for the lifting services industry for many years. About the Role:We are looking for a talented Crane Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine service inspections to overhead cranes and hoists, consulting with customers to ensure next steps are recorded, and anticipating potential problems before they occur. Additional responsibilities will include frontline maintenance, attending to breakdowns, fault finding, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades to the customers' cranes and hoists.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ3, HNC, HND or C&G electrical engineering qualification
- Relevant industry experience working with cranes and hoists.
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machines.
- Excellent customer service manner, with strong listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
- An estimated salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
