Aggregates Industry Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our aggregates supplier's operations in the Lincolnshire area. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic business with a strong track record of success.

About the Role:
  • A competitive salary of up to £60,000

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a team of 10 employees, promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
  2. Maintain quarry production levels efficiently, meeting customer demands and operational deadlines.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve extraction operations, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
  4. Work closely with third-party contractors and company operatives to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  5. Ensure effective budget management and cost control.
  6. Implement and maintain quality assurance and environmental systems, meeting regulatory requirements.
  7. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted initiatives.
  8. Project manage capital expenditure projects, prioritizing resources and managing budgets.
  9. Promote a positive health and safety culture, contributing to regular audits and inspections.
Requirements:
  1. Hold a recognized qualification in geology or quarry management.
  2. Demonstrate experience as a supervisory manager in the quarry industry.
  3. Possess relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 6 or MPQC certification under Regulation 8 (1) (c) of the Quarry Regulations.
