Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer Leader to join our team at Siemens Energy Gas and Power Services in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for gas turbine fleet management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Innovate and modernize control systems to ensure longevity and efficiency of gas turbine fleets
  • Develop complex software modules from philosophy documents or transform obsolete control systems into modern software-driven solutions
  • Design and construct new hardware solutions to replace outdated control systems or upgrade existing ones
  • Identify and rectify issues during software/hardware testing and support commissioning teams during equipment/software installation
Requirements
  • Educational background: degree or equivalent professional accreditation in an engineering discipline, preferably related to Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Software
  • Industry experience: hands-on experience with industrial control systems applications and industrial IT networks
  • Technical proficiency: working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with IT tools and software for business analytics and project management
  • Industry knowledge: experience with gas turbine technology or similar industrial products for the Oil & Gas or Energy industry is beneficial
