About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, psychological, and social well-being. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience in a care home setting, preferably with a focus on elderly care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
