GMP Recruitment Ltd is a leading recruitment agency based in Evesham, and we are currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team.

This 12-week position will provide a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a prestigious business, gaining valuable experience in finance and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile Sales Ledger transactions, including BACS, Cheques, Credit Cards, and Cash.
  • Post Manual Sales Ledger Invoices, Credit Notes, and Journals efficiently.
  • Administer and reconcile Vehicle Fleet data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the Financial Accountant in producing timely and accurate analysis, reports, and management information.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a previous finance or administration role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Excellent data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good telephone manner.
  • Able to work under own initiative, as well as part of a team.

Working Hours and Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1600 hours, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour.
