We are seeking an experienced SEN ICT Teacher to join our dedicated team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering the ICT curriculum to students with special educational needs, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the ICT subject area, delivering the curriculum across Years 7 to 11 with experience teaching up to GCSE Level and other Level 2 qualifications.
- Work collaboratively with Primary and Post-16 colleagues to ensure a seamless learning journey.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment with clear boundaries.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with special educational needs, including those with high-functioning autism, anxiety, and emotionally based school avoidance.
- QTS or equivalent qualification.
- Proven teaching experience, preferably in a specialist setting.
- Basic understanding of Autism, with comprehensive training provided.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
