We are seeking an experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team as a Lead Psychologist in a specialist mental health service for men who are deaf and have complex communication needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and formulate treatment plans for service users with complex needs
- Design and deliver specialist psychological treatment within mental health care services
- Lead the psychology department in providing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, EMDR, and DBT
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, including psychologists and assistants
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of new initiatives
- Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society
- Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualification in applied psychology
- Competence in assessing, formulating, and working therapeutically with service users
- Ability to identify and proactively resolve problems and challenges within the service
- Experience in working with people with complex needs relevant to the population in the service area
- Annual salary of £62,533
