The Role

As a Retail Crew member, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and driving sales through delivery of outstanding customer experiences. You'll be responsible for creating engaging customer relationships, understanding and communicating our product range, and contributing to the commercial success of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Create a genuine connection with customers through sharing your passion for the ocean and our brand values.
    • Understand and communicate our product range authentically, using your own experience and technical knowledge.
    • Provide openness and honesty in all situations, taking appropriate actions to ensure a high standard of customer service.
    • Build a loyal customer base and positive relationships throughout the Finisterre community.
  • Commercial
    • Contribute to the commercial success of the store through delivering sales targets and KPIs.
    • Exceed customer expectations and maximize sales potential through our multi-channel offer.
    • Contribute to the timely execution of all launches, promotions, and campaigns in store.
  • Operations
    • Optimize conversion through ensuring visual merchandising and presentation guidelines are followed.
    • Maintain high security through service, shop floor awareness, and adherence to security measures.
    • Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
    • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the store and back of house.
    • Ensure the shop floor is always fully stocked through effective use of our replenishment systems.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations, seeking better practices and feeding back to store managers.
  • People
    • Actively participate in the team, helping others and building positive relationships throughout the store.
    • Be responsible for your own personal development, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
    • Adhere to all current policy and procedure laid out by Finisterre.

    Requirements

We're looking for individuals who share our passion for the ocean and our brand values. You'll be a people person, genuinely enjoying talking to others and working well as part of a team. You'll be self-motivated, proactive, and committed to your own personal development. Previous experience in a customer-focused role is essential, as is a strong understanding of exceptional customer service and knowledge of retail operations.
