About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Director to join our team at Moredun Scientific Limited, a leading contract research organisation specialising in animal health and aquaculture product development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading studies evaluating vaccines, therapeutics, and other fish health products for use in farmed fish, as well as developing and validating relevant research models.

As a Study Director, you will work closely with our team of experts to design, implement, and manage studies, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading studies and research projects in aquaculture and fish health
  • Developing and validating research models and methods
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement studies
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality management systems
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on fish health and aquaculture research

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in biological sciences, contract research, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of research quality management systems, fish infectious diseases, and the use of challenge models.

In addition to a strong technical background, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
