Nurse Disability Assessor

Join our team of healthcare professionals at Aspect Healthcare, where you'll have the opportunity to work as a Nurse Functional Assessor. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments with individuals who have a range of physical and/or mental health conditions, with the goal of determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments with individuals, using your clinical expertise to understand the impact of their health conditions on their daily lives.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work in an office-style environment and at home, completing assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of post-registration experience.
- NMC pin registration is required.
- UK experience is essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and IT competency is a must-have.
- Competitive salary of £37,800 per year.
