About the Role

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Shuttering Carpenter. The successful candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and formwork and will be able to construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and dismantle shuttering and formwork for concrete structures.
  • Select and prepare materials necessary for formwork, ensuring they are ready for concrete pouring.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards, making any adjustments to achieve the best possible result.

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of construction site duties.
  • Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter, especially on large-scale projects.
  • NVQ qualification in Carpentry (preferred).
  • 2 years experience in Formwork Carpentry (preferred).

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per year, based on experience and location.
