Job Overview
A senior Bookkeeper is required by a dynamic accounting practice based in North Leeds to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The successful candidate will join a busy team responsible for managing client finances, including processing transactions, reconciliations, and bank statements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and client books on a timely basis.
  • Manage client finances, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop financial strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
