Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Summary:
Piramal is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovation and excellence. We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee diverse engineering projects across our pharmaceutical site, including infrastructure, formulations, packaging, site utilities, and facilities management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and adhere to the highest quality standards.
- Review and issue tenders, ensuring alignment with project scope and customer requirements.
- Prepare tender evaluations, liaise with purchasing, and drive order placement.
- Supervise site installations and commissioning works.
- Drive validation activities.
- Develop concept engineering proposals and budget costings.
- Agree on engineering user requirements and scope of works with internal and external clients.
- Prepare project estimates based on user requirements and developed scope.
- Oversee cost control of project budgets once approved.
- Prepare project programs and monitor progress against milestones.
Requirements:
Relevant and demonstrable experience in project engineering within a fast-paced environment, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or Chemical Sector.
Experience with infrastructure modifications, including civil refurbishment and mechanical & electrical services installation and modification.
Project validation experience.
Experience successfully managing capital expenditure projects.
