Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Jacobs, a leading provider of professional, technical, and construction services. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, working closely with our commercial and procurement teams to manage contracts, costs, and risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage contracts, including preparation, negotiation, and administration, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct cost estimates, forecasts, and analyses to inform business decisions and optimize project outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement commercial strategies, ensuring that projects are commercially viable and aligned with company objectives.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data and information.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
