Key Role in Healthcare Hygiene

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Service Technician to join our team, where you will play a vital part in the success of our company.

Your excellent customer service skills will be essential in keeping our customers happy and ensuring they remain our customers. As a key worker, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of our customers and society as a whole.

A day in the life of a Service Technician at PHS Group Ltd. involves collecting health-related waste products ranging from Pharmaceutical, Non-hazardous Waste, and clinical waste. This may include providing support to the nation's Covid testing stations, helping to keep facilities hygienic and fresh.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will collect health-related waste products ranging from Pharmaceutical, Non-hazardous Waste, and clinical waste.
  • You will operate Soft Compaction Vehicles designed specifically for the service we provide.
  • You will support Covid testing stations by collecting sealed waste.
  • You will return to your allocated depot every day to empty the waste from the vehicle that was collected.
Requirements
  • Safety and legal compliance are essential.
  • You must hold a Category C (LGV Class 2) license, current Driver CPC card, and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • To be eligible for this role, you must have held a full driving license for at least 12 months and have attained the appropriate LGV Cat C License.
  • You are advised to have vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio, and Hepatitis A.
