Job Overview

The SEN Teaching Assistant role at Prospero Teaching is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school in Bexley. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of TA experience, with a genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs
- Help create and deliver tailored learning plans alongside the class teacher
- Support students in both academic and social development
- Assist with the integration of students into mainstream activities and environments
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Encourage and motivate students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

What We Offer

Prospero Teaching offers a competitive salary of £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
