About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Galliford Try within our Environment Business. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project management of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil installation schemes, working on our Yorkshire Water Frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across the Framework to ensure successful delivery against project KPIs.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations, including CDM regulations, and Environmental legislation.
  • Closely liaise with other departments, such as tendering and design, to ensure resources are correctly allocated and client requirements are fully achieved.
  • Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams.
  • Assume responsibility for the financial performance of each project, with overall responsibility for Profit/Loss on contracts undertaken.
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews for all schemes with the Commercial Manager, ensuring accurate financial performance reports are prepared.
Requirements
  • Industry applicable ONC/HNC/ or NVQ equivalent.
  • Experience in working within the water and or sewage industries.
  • Strong team player with ability to work well as an individual, prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines.
  • CSCS card and IOSH or CITD Day Site Safety Management (SMSTS) certification.
  • Ability to demonstrate key attributes, including desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture, organised and structured approach, flexibility, resilience and ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
