Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Paper and Packaging Technical division. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to colleagues, customers, and suppliers, driving business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the New Product Introduction process, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lab Operations: Prioritize and manage laboratory work to deliver high-quality results, communicating effectively with external testing houses and internal teams.
  • Operational Support: Offer technical assistance to the Paper business, including mill chemistry, troubleshooting, and maintenance of documentation.
  • Technical Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations and produce technical reports to support R&D and process problem-solving initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or HND in a scientific discipline, with A Level qualifications in Chemistry and Maths.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a laboratory or operational environment, with a strong understanding of technical principles and practices.
  • Skills: Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work flexibly within a collaborative team environment.
