About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Youth Support Worker to join our team at Sja's West. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to young people involved with the NHS Cadet Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1.5-2 hour sessions to young people, providing development opportunities for citizenship and a desire to work or volunteer in an NHS role.
  • Work closely with a Project Lead and other Youth Support Workers to plan and deliver content, adapting to individual needs.
  • Support the recruitment of young people onto the programme and act as a point of contact for enrolled participants.

About You:

  • Experience in delivering training or activities to young people, with a focus on motivating those with low or unrealised aspirations.
  • High levels of IT literacy, with a good knowledge of MS Office and remote working tools.
