About the Role

The MDM Coordinator/Cancer Tracker will play a crucial role in supporting cancer patient pathways in NHS Scotland. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyze cancer data to inform priorities and escalation requirements.
  • Track cancer patients through their pathways and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate regular multidisciplinary team meetings (MDMs) to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Work closely with cancer clinicians and other NHS staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide cover and support within the wider Cancer Information and Audit Team as required.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Secretarial/Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
