At Western Power Distribution, we're committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient electricity distribution to our customers. We're seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team in the Alfreton area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of our distribution network up to 66kV. This will involve taking ownership of safety, work planning, performance, and issuing safety documents and other tasks appropriate to the technician role.
You'll need to have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to work independently as part of a small team. Good communication skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to cope in pressured situations are essential.
In addition to your technical skills, you'll be required to train as an SAP and be mobile throughout the area as you'll be required to undertake standby duties.
