Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join their globally recognised team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to work with cutting-edge automated machinery, offering extensive travel and direct client interaction.
About the RoleThis position involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site to ensure machines operate efficiently. Additionally, you will provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site
- Provide technical support and training to clients
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex problems
- Ensure all service activities meet company standards and client requirements
- Prepare detailed service reports for each project
- 3-5 years of experience in field service engineering (ideally with automated machinery)
- Strong hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40% travel, with trips lasting 2-3 weeks)
- Must hold a valid passport and driver's license
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
- Door-to-door pay with enhanced overtime rates: 1.3x for regular overtime, 1.5x for Saturdays and the first 8 hours of weekend overtime, and 2.0x for Sundays
- 28 days of holiday
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
