We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join our Manchester offices.

  • Manage a caseload on a day-to-day basis, including all aspects of the conveyancing transaction from instruction to completion, registration, and closure of the file.
  • Take instructions, keep accurate file notes, communicate with clients and 3rd parties, and complete tasks.
  • Draft legal documents, including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Title Reports, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and Land Registry and HMRC forms.
  • Carry out Pre-completion, Land Registry, and Conveyancing searches accurately and timely.
  • Ensure the file is ready for exchange and completion, making sure all the correct and necessary paperwork and funds are in place.
  • Carry out Post Completion work, including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures, and checking account ledgers.
  • As a Property Lawyer, you will have a mixed caseload of Freeholds and Leaseholds.

Requirements

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work alone or as part of a team.
