Linux and Storage Engineer

Our client, a leading FinTech trading firm, is seeking a highly skilled Linux and Storage Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the infrastructure engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering a best-in-class Linux and storage environment for trading.

You will work closely with the engineering team to architect and implement solutions leveraging RHEL operating system, containerization, virtualization, colocation, and enterprise storage. Your expertise in Linux, storage, and cloud infrastructure will be essential in delivering high-performance and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing Linux and storage infrastructure solutions
  • Leading complex engineering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality code using Ansible, shell scripting, and Python
  • Ensuring compliance with Release and Deployment Management processes, including RedHat Satellite experience

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience architecting solutions leveraging RHEL operating system at a top-tier financial or technical firm
  • Expert-level knowledge of the Linux Operating System
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects
