Job Summary


Muldoon Transport Systems Ltd is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and service of trailers and equipment at our workshop facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HGV or trailer repairs, previous experience in a supervisor role, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee the Muldoon Workshop facility to ensure routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and jobs are carried out to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.
  • Complete compliance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Operate and drive company vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company policy.
  • Participate in training as determined by the company.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to deadlines.
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures consistently.
  • Exhibit Muldoon's values and ethics in all conduct.


Qualifications and Requirements



  • A 'Time Served' technician certificate or City & Guilds Levels 1, 2, and 3 Certificates, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • A strong technical background in HGV or trailer repairs.
  • Previous experience in a supervisor role.
  • Experience with Bulk Blower Vehicle maintenance (preferable but not essential).
  • High enthusiasm and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to complete necessary written documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and task prioritization.
  • Initiative to work independently when needed.


Salary and Benefits


The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of £37,150.00-£45,000.00 per year, including benefits such as company pension and free parking.



Work Schedule


This full-time, permanent position requires working Monday to Friday, day shift hours.
