About the Role

Xpertise Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modelling: Design and implement scalable, efficient data models that support business requirements.
  • ETL Expertise: Ensure data models are effectively integrated into ETL processes.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain robust data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Cloud Technology: Utilise AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Databricks and/or Snowflake to develop and optimise data models and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, metadata, and standards.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor and enhance the performance of data models, proactively addressing any issues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data modelling, ETL, and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technology and data warehousing.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
