Xpertise Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. As a key strategic hire, this role will be crucial in ensuring the data and AI team can expand quickly.


Key Details:


Salary Range: £75,000-£95,000

Location: Flexible hybrid working model with opportunities to work from our Newcastle tech hub

Future Outlook: Previous senior placements at Xpertise Recruitment have progressed into lead/chief architect roles and managerial and strategic positions. With a clear pathway for career advancement, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Modelling: Design and implement scalable, efficient data models that support business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with ETL processes.
  • ETL Expertise: Develop and maintain robust ETL processes, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Data Governance: Implement and maintain comprehensive data governance practices, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Cloud Technology: Utilize AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Databricks, and/or Snowflake to develop and optimize data models and workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, metadata, and standards.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor and enhance the performance of data models, proactively addressing any issues.


Requirements:


  • Experience: Proven experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of cloud technology, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
