Job Title: Investment Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Investment Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in financial planning.

About the Role:

The Investment Advisor will be responsible for providing expert financial planning advice to clients, helping them achieve their long-term goals and securing their financial futures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting client meetings to understand their financial goals and creating personalized plans to help them achieve those goals;
  • Educating clients on personal finance topics such as budgeting, managing debt, insurance, saving, investing, education planning, and retirement planning;
  • Creating and implementing customized financial plans for clients, and regularly reviewing progress to ensure they stay on track;
  • Providing recommendations on investment products, insurance policies, and other financial solutions based on clients' goals and plans;
  • BUILDING LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS BY PROVIDING OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EARNING THEIR TRUST AND LOYALTY OVER TIME;
  • Handling client complaints and problems, working with them to find solutions and keep them happy;
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest financial products, regulations, and best practices to provide the best possible service to clients;
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma/Degree of Higher Qualification (advantageous);
  • A clear credit and criminal record check;
  • A valid driver's license;
  • Your own reliable car;
  • Your own laptop;
  • Strong networking and social skills;
  • Professional attire and presentation skills;
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills;
  • Values and ethics driven by your sense of integrity and honesty;
  • Strong emotional intelligence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Package & Remuneration:

This is a market-related position, with remuneration discussed at the first interview presentation. We estimate a salary range of R550,000 - R750,000 per annum based on industry standards and location factors.
