Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager / Senior Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and development tax relief services and will be responsible for leading and managing the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims
  • Identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting R&D tax relief services
Requirements
  • Experience of leading and managing the preparation of technical and financial assessments for R&D tax relief claims
  • Ability to identify R&D projects and expenditure through participation in technical and financial discussions with existing and potential clients
  • Strong experience in the R&D tax relief services or industry equivalent
  • Degree level, and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent or, alternatively, a holder of a university degree in science or technology, or computer science/ software development (BSc, MSc, and/or PhD)
  • Proven experience of working independently on R&D tax relief claims for companies of all sizes
