Automotive Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out all necessary mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs, including ADAS calibration and wheel alignment.
* Dismantle vehicles in preparation for panel repairs.
* Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
* Order and manage replacement parts.
* Reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition.
* Ensure all work meets our quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with the wider team regarding the status of repairs.
About You:
* You bring significant experience as an MET Technician from an accident repair background, with expertise in working with electric and hybrid vehicles.
* Your attention to detail and ability to work skilfully under pressure are key to your success.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Extensive experience as an MET Technician, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles.
* Competency in ADAS, wheel alignment, strip/refit, mechanical work, and using diagnostic tools.
* Ability to efficiently plan and manage your workload to meet agreed timescales.
* Commitment to completing work in line with manufacturer specifications.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
* Flexibility in your approach, always striving for high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
* Strict adherence to Health & Safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, and wearing appropriate PPE.
* Relevant experience and training in electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as ATA/NVQ qualifications in automotive repair (we will support renewing these qualifications).
